How does booking work? +
Choose a cruise, pick your date and number of guests, and send the reservation — it takes a few minutes and nothing is charged online. Your confirmation arrives the same day, and you pay on the day of the tour.
Do I have to pay in advance? +
No. There is no prepayment: booking reserves your seats, and payment happens on the tour day. Cash or card details are settled on the day itself.
What is the cancellation policy? +
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure. Plans change on holiday — booking early costs you nothing.
When will I know my pickup time? +
The exact time is confirmed the day before, once the coach route for your area is set. A fixed minute promised weeks ahead would be a guess — no honest operator can give one.
Which areas have hotel pickup? +
The Side and Manavgat area every day; Alanya every day in the summer season; Belek and Antalya on Mondays and Thursdays. The getting-there guide lists the real road distances for each resort.
How long are the tours? +
The classic boat tour spends about 4.5 hours on the water and includes a freshly prepared lunch on board. The catamaran cruise is about 2.5 hours with one swimming stop. Transfer time comes on top and depends on your resort.
Can we swim? +
Yes — the reservoir is calm, crystal-clear fresh water. The boat tour makes several unhurried swimming stops; the catamaran makes one. The spring-fed water is always refreshingly cool, even in August.
Is the tour suitable for children? +
Very much so — the lake has no waves and the boats carry families every day. Children aged 3–11 join at a reduced rate; the shorter catamaran suits small children best. Life vests are on board, including child sizes.
What should I bring? +
Swimwear (worn under your clothes), a towel, high-SPF sun protection and a charged phone cover most of the day. The full packing list is in our what-to-bring guide.
Is the Green Canyon a natural place or a dam lake? +
Both, honestly: a natural mountain canyon flooded by the Oymapınar Dam (about 185 m tall, completed in 1984). The emerald colour comes from spring water filtered through limestone — no filters, no dye.
What happens if the weather is bad? +
The lake is sheltered mountain water, so ordinary wind rarely troubles it. If a tour cannot operate, we contact you to rebook or cancel free of charge — you have paid nothing in advance either way.
Why book direct instead of through a platform? +
You book with the operator that runs the boats: the price is the operator's price with no marketplace commission, changes are handled by the people who actually hold your reservation, and nothing is paid until the tour day.
Is there a shorter Green Canyon tour? +
Yes — the 2.5-hour catamaran cruise is the short format: the same emerald water and canyon walls with one swim stop, without giving up the whole day. The classic boat tour spends about 4.5 hours on the water with lunch on board.
Where exactly do you swim on the tour? +
Only at designated swim stops, announced by the crew, entered from the boat into deep, clear spring water with the crew present. Swimming is not free-for-all across the reservoir, and on rare days conditions can adjust the plan — honest operators say so upfront.
Are there shopping stops on the Green Canyon tour? +
No. Our Green Canyon day is the tour, full stop — no carpet showroom, no textile outlet, no jewellery detour. Hotel, canyon, cruise, and back. If a day trip you were offered includes shopping stops, it is not ours.
