The classic boat tour — the full canyon day

About four and a half hours on the water. The longer route means the boat reaches the quieter corners of the reservoir, there is a freshly prepared lunch served on board, and the swimming stops are unhurried — you swim, dry off in the sun, and swim again. This is the trip for guests who want the canyon to BE the day, not an item in it.

The catamaran cruise — the essential canyon

About two and a half hours, on a spacious deck built for looking around. You get the emerald water, the canyon walls and one stop to swim in the cool, crystal-clear reservoir before the boat turns back. It suits guests with children who tire on long outings, anyone who prefers a gentler pace, and travellers who want to see the canyon without giving up the whole day.

The honest differences
